We are progressing onwards with our challenging and innovative Care Village in Newtownards – www.ballyreaghcarevillage.co.uk We hope to have an application in for this soon. Our research tells us that buyers need care when they are elderly, and few wish to be thrown at the mercy of the state if they can help it. Ballyreagh is the largest private Care Village of its type planned in the UK to fill this yawning gap. Buyers in their 60’s and 70’s may sell 50% of their home to the Trust to pay for possibly increasing care needs for themselves or their spouses, and being on site, residents may live in their own home and receive a high degree of care, rather than possibly being forced into a nursing home
