A Northern Ireland developer has sold a record number of homes this year. W. J. Law Ltd sold 81 homes up to 31st July, compared with 7 in the same period in 2008. W. J. Law put this record in part down to the Smartmove deposit offer, where the builder pays the 25% Mortgage deposit.
Now two of the largest W.J. Law schemes are to host a “Homebuyers Workshop” to introduce more prospective buyers across the Province to the innovative Smartmove Scheme and current mortgage deals available.
1st: Ballantine Garden Village in Lisburn on Saturday the 26th September from 10am – 2pm
2nd: Summerhill in Banbridge on Saturday the 3rd October from 10 – 2pm.
At each of the schemes there will be advisor’s on hand, from Banks, Mortgage Providers right through to the builders and kitchen suppliers – all to help the buyer.
David Law, Director of W.J. Law said: “The Deposit offer has helped buyers enormously; being able to buy a home and have an average £50,000 deposit paid on your behalf has made buying a home possible and affordable. We pay the deposit, and the buyer can thus get a really good mortgage interest rate on the remainder.
“Having a good Loan – to – Value, means that buyers can have low interest rates such as 3.5%, giving monthly repayments from as little as £275 per month for a 2 bedroom house in Banbridge” said Mr Law. He points out, however the money does have to be paid back: “This is most likely when the buyer sells.”
Ballantine Garden Village has a range of homes from £149,000 – £275,000, plus there will be a Nursing Home, retirement village, Shops, Chemist and Crèche too.
Summerhill, Banbridge has a range of homes from £125,000 to £250,000, and has evolved into a charming and Award winning development.
