Award winning developers told interested house hunters of their unique new scheme, which has broken all sales records this year.
After selling 85 homes since January, many via their “Smart Move” Scheme, W.J. Law held a ‘Home Buyer’s Workshop’ at their flagship Ballantine Garden Village development in Lisburn, to explain this success and offer the scheme to new homebuyers.
Opening the event, The Mayor of Lisburn, Councillor Allan Ewart, enthused, “To my knowledge, this is the first time so many banks and Mortgage suppliers have been gathered together to help buyers.”
On site were the Halifax, the Northern Bank, Ulster Bank and First Trust Bank along with two Mortgage brokers. Visitors also learned of the W.J. Law Smart Move Scheme where W J Law pays the first 25%of the home.
Said Managing Director, David Law: “Being able to buy with the first 25% paid has been a tremendous help to people; getting a great mortgage rate on a much smaller Mortgage loan is a real win – win for buyers”
“Getting a loan has been such a barrier for people that we had to step in to help get things moving.” said David. Judging by the crowds on Saturday, this seems to have worked!
Also on hand were a full range of suppliers of Kitchens, Bathrooms, Tiles, Carpets and fireplaces to brief the interested visitors on their options.
Site Manager Michael Poole at Ballantine Garden Village won the best Site Manager in N. Ireland last year, and Michael has again been nominated for the award this year at Ballantine also.
