A leading local home-builder has unveiled three new schemes which it believes will encourage people to get on and climb up the property ladder. WJ Law, which has been in business for more than a century, said the initiatives were aimed at providing peace of mind in a ‘volatile’ market.
WJ Law also revealed details of its Houseprice Guarantee scheme which effectively guarantees the capital value of a home can only rise, with the Lisburn-based home-builder promising to refund the difference in value and stamp duty if one of their homes sells for less than the current price before December 31st 2009.
“The Houseprice guarantee scheme is a guarantee that the capital value of your home can only rise. WJ Law will guarantee that if the same type of home is completed on the same specification basis for a lesser price prior to December 31st 2009, then WJ Law will refund the difference plus the difference paid in stamp duty,” David Law said today.
Mr Law believes both of these purchase options which have been launched alongside another entitled ‘Smart Move’ scheme where buyers can complete on their home purchase with 25% of the price deferred until the home is sold will be welcomed by the house-buying public.
“We have designed these in line with what we have been hearing from potential home-buyers over the past few months,” said David Law. Essentially our information suggests there are plenty of people out there interested in moving, but some have been holding off because of what they perceive to be a lack of stability in terms price. Each of these schemes should provide home-buyers with the confidence they need, whether their plan is to move in the short, medium or long-term.”
All schemes are available for WJ Law’s Summerhill homes at Rathfriland Road in Banbridge. The Houseprice Guarantee scheme is available for Ballantine Garden Village at Hill Hall Road in Lisburn, and the Smart Move scheme and Houseprice Guarantee scheme is available for Bishopshill at Banbridge Road in Dromore. Home-buyers can make an offer by contacting the relevant selling agents for the properties.
QThe Houseprice Guarantee Scheme guarantees that the capital value of a home can only rise, given that WJ Law promise to refund the difference in value and stamp duty if WJ Law were to sell the same home for less inside 18 months.
